Understanding Your ADHD Child Seminar

Helping parents expand their knowledge of ADHD and create strategies to support their child!

WHEN: Tuesdays, February 18, 25,March 3, 10, 17 & 24

8:00PM-9:00PM Eastern | 5:00PM-6:00PM Pacific

I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 10 years old. The first time I ever heard the definition of ADHD was my freshman year of college in my Intro to Psychology class. I had struggled with ADHD for so long but it wasn't until I was 18 years old that I started to understand what ADHD is.

Whether your child has just been diagnosed, was diagnosed years ago or has not been diagnosed at all, understanding what ADHD is will help you gain a more clear path on how you can help your kiddo manage their ADHD. In addition, you may be able to help yourself or your spouse... After all, ADHD is genetic!!

So, what exactly is this?

This is a 6 week online group seminar. We will meet weekly on Zoom where you will learn the ins and outs of ADHD and leave with Tips & Tricks to try at home. By the end of this course, you will have a better understanding of what ADHD is, the role it is playing in your child's life and ways you can help.

About Tyler

Tyler Elizabeth Dorsey graduated from the International ADHD Life Coach Training Center in January 2019. She worked for her high school alma mater, Lexington Catholic High School, as an ADHD Life Coach, Mentor & Consultant from 2014-2018. Tyler was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 10 and knew she wanted to provide services to others who have been struggling due to their ADHD. After graduating college, in May 2014, Tyler started Focus Forward. Focus Forward began as a company that provided tutoring services and has since expanded to providing various ADHD Life Coaching services, Teacher Training Courses, ADHD Life Coaching Business Courses and More!

"Growing up, I always struggled to preform well academically as well as to manage my impulses and emotions at home. Those times are what my family refers to as WWIII. As a matter of fact, when I moved out for college, my entire family was smiling and celebrating the new found peace at home now that I was gone. After almost failing out my first semester of college, I decided it was time for me to learn how my ADHD was impacting my life and develop strategies to manage my symptoms. Going through this process instilled in me a passion for ADHD and helping others who are also struggling. I have made this my mission since 2014 and hope that through the 'Understanding Your ADHD Child Seminar' I can help your family navigate the crazy roads ADHD is taking you on." - Tyler Dorsey

"Focus Forward has worked with my son creating personalized strategies helping him with time management, organization, focusing and communicating with teachers to help him be successful in school. These are areas he has difficulty managing due to his ADD. The sessions are conducted in a calm, relaxed manner that put him at ease to where he can understand how to best use these strategies. Follow up sessions are conducted to check and see how the strategies are working. I think the best part that makes this program so successful is the fact that Tyler has experienced in her past exactly what my son is feeling and that connection makes him feel she truly understand the struggles he is having. I highly recommend this Focus Forward and have told many others about it."
