I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was 10 years old. The first time I ever heard the definition of ADHD was my freshman year of college in my Intro to Psychology class. I had struggled with ADHD for so long but it wasn't until I was 18 years old that I started to understand what ADHD is.
Whether your child has just been diagnosed or was diagnosed years ago, understanding what ADHD is will help for you to gain a more clear path on how you can help your child manage their ADHD. In addition, you may be able to help yourself or your spouse... After all, ADHD is genetic!!
So, what exactly is this?

"Growing up, I always struggled to preform well academically as well as to manage my impulses and emotions at home. Those times are what my family refers to as WWIII. As a matter of fact, when I moved out for college, my entire family was smiling and celebrating the new found peace at home now that I was gone. After almost failing out my first semester of college, I decided it was time for me to learn how my ADHD was impacting my life and develop strategies to manage my symptoms. Going through this process instilled in me a passion for ADHD and helping others who are also struggling. I have made this my mission since 2014 and hope that through the 'Understanding Your ADHD Child Seminar' I can help your family navigate the crazy roads ADHD is taking you on." - Tyler Dorsey
